Ensure Accountability & Integrity in Canadian Diplomatic Appointments

We have grave concern regarding the recent decision made by the Pakistani government to appoint Sikandar Sultan Raja as the ambassador to Canada. His appointment poses a threat to the values of democracy, human rights, and rule of law that both Canada and Pakistan claim to uphold. Canadian government must consider Mr. Raja's background before granting him entry into Canada.
